If he gets reported and suspended, will it be reported that 'Bonar has been rubbed out' ?

Sometimes so I've heard he is on some of those stiffening pills for old folk to correct that issue.

Looking forward to him combining with Long and Steele.

Either in the forward pocket or, more likely, front and centre.

Six games in two years. Development has been so-so.

My info is GWS will be willing to trade, especially for picks (not that we have many) to secure academy prospects Liam Delahunty and Tom Green.

What pick would suffice?

One of those talented players but merely the fact he crank break into a gun team goes against a big premium.

Pick between 20-30? Might be similar to the Steele trade although Steele had more games into him.

Will GWS command a pick in the teens?

Good to see the Boner discussion has popped up again.

Let’s hope the club can bring things to a head, have the balls to trade for him, take the bull by the horn and not get shafted.

I reckon they'd let him go for around 30-35. Hasn't dominated in the NEAFL and hasn't found what niche he can fill. Showed flashes of absolute brilliance, but he can't crack the senior side and won't next year, either.

IMO, he'll be available for even less a year from now. Wondering whether it's better to pounce now or wait it out.

Despite his lack of progress he's such an interesting prospect that you wouldn't want to count him out.

Bonar was in my list of players I was hoping we'd consider with pick 8. With pick 7 I was adamant we had to take Stephenson or Clark (both would have been my dream draft but was always unlikely) and then my choices for pick 8 were Higgins, Fogarty and Bonar. He's definitely shown the least of those three so far. Could very well be an athletic man-child who isn't all that good at footy when up against other grown men. I'd still take him but not for more than a second rounder or fringe player.

Boner has been a bit of a disappointment but has been injured. Clark and Coffield were much better selections...easily

Is gettable for a late second or early third rounder.
As per Jason McCartney at GWS.
Potentially an upgrade on Acres if we lose him.

Have watched him in the NEAFL a number of times and he hasnt produced any where near his draft position. Has a long way to go and definitely not at the level he was projected at, hence why GWS are happy to release him.

Let's not become another GWS dumping ground ala Carlton & Melbourne.
