Watching the AFL pre game

Post: # 1848422Post MC Gusto »

Geez I love Rooey

Says he does his best to not be biased but he looooves the saints. Keeps on praising the recruiting and the maturing of our young guns

A different rooey from last year that’s for sure...clearly loves Ratts and really didn’t rate Richo <edit by mods>..that said he is a class professional and other than the odd ‘they look far more damaging than they did last year’ isn’t overt about his views on the coaching change and influence that Ratt has had in such a short time

Got a feeling we’ll do the pies this week

I do rate Richo <edit by mod>. He is doing the best he can but has a political fruit cake for a deputy and a thug for a premier.

The more you know, the more you know you don't know.
When I was a young child, I knew that I knew so much about so much.
Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

Slightly OT but Dogs vs GWS right now is making our victory last week look all the more impressive.

To your post Roo is just a class act in every way. Hopefully he stays involved with the club in any role they see fit.

This was my father's belief
And this is also mine:
Let the corn be all one sheaf--
And the grapes be all one vine,
Ere our children's teeth are set on edge
By bitter bread and wine.

Our form is looking good. We should have beaten North B.C. (before Covid) and we beat the dogs convincingly last week, and they have both towelled up the giants.

A premiership beckons!!

As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”

Let’s see how we cope with the skill of the Pies in what could be a dry weather game now.

i am Melbourne Skies - sometimes Blue Skies, Grey Skies, even Partly Cloudy Skies.
