Not a lot of love for Kent, I haven't been a fan of his at all, but last night I thought he was very, very good.
Even nailed a long clutch goal in the last (yes and missed one) and was a lot harder at the contest than he has been in the past.
I thought it was his 2nd best game for the club after the Melbourne match last year.
I was hoping others such as Parker, Sinclair, Phillips would push ahead of him in the teams but his last two games have been pretty good.
If he can iron out the real clangers and play consistent footy he'll be a bonus.
Much prefer Kent than Ryder (who he replaced last week) as its another runner forward.
The extended break has worked for him. Seems to have gotten over his soft tissue problems and has confidence in his body.
Quickest by some way last night and that includes Butler who is a gazelle
5 Coffield
4 The prospect
3 Steele
2 Billings
1 Hannebery ( until half time)

Hehe, I couldn't split Coffield and Billings either. I put Coff slightly higher as it was a breakout game of sorts. Wilkie was awesome in the first half until injured.

I didn’t realise he was injured? Will he miss this week?

I don't think we ever found out! Apparently he missed the second half but I'm not sure. Maybe just Chinese whispers and he was just quiet.

The three Butlers in danger as called by BT, a vote each. Long for sheer entertainment, bravery and athleticism - what marking! King for his work to get the ball to one of the three Butlers. Ross for his one percenters, Battle for pressuring the Carlton defender into basketballing to him on the goal line, the whole 24 actually (22 plus 2 extra Butlers).

That call on Butler kicking the goal was probably the worst bit of commentary I have heard in my life.
It went something like this:
DANGER!
DANGER!
DANGER!
BUTLER!
BUTLER!
BUTLER!
DANGER!
DANGER!
DANGER!
BT is a terrible commentator.
Holder of unacceptable views and other thought crimes.

So these are the only breakdown possible
Steele 5+5
Marshall 4+3
Wilkie 1
Jack Martin 2
Liam Jones 2
One of Coffield or Billings 3+1
The other 4+0
