I don’t normally umpire bash but that quarter was just disgusting. Must be bloody awfully dispiriting as a Saints player out there knowing the rubbish they’re making up.

Thankfully Brisbane cant kick straight. But we are playing nervous footy. Forwards need to take their snaps, defenders hold their marks and we are in this.

Lions have missed plenty but equally our decision making kicking inside 50 has cost us big time. Marshall from 55 .... straight to a lion. Need to clean this up

That King miss really hurt
Pbly due for a rest. Worst game I reckon I’ve seen from him... dropped some sitters and struggled with his hands which is unlike him.

I don't want to say this but it has to be said, when the umpires do not reward tackling and allow incorrect disposal they are extremely poor and become a blight on the game.

Hard to take single grabs when it’s kicked on top of your head all day and you’re a skinny gazelle in year 1
FFS he’s a tall lead up marking forward give him the space Hawkins gets to lead into at Cats and we’ll see he’s had 1 decent kick in entry all day??
We are asking him to body on body wrestle for his grabs that’s not his go and certainly not at this stage of his career
I do think our “bomb” into forward 50 at times hurts us
