Re: How will you Celebrate Our Premiership cup this year ?
I’ll make a big post about all the recommendations ive made on here over the last 20 odd years that have obviously been adopted and point out the opinions that were completely wrong as I said at the times that were ignored or moved on from

I'd let the climate change people know that the world isn't warming at all but cooling down because hell would have to have frozen over before we win our next premiership (going by our previous attempts).
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”
St Kilda - At least we have a Crest!

This was my father's belief
And this is also mine:
Let the corn be all one sheaf--
And the grapes be all one vine,
Ere our children's teeth are set on edge
By bitter bread and wine.

I will be in a drunken stupor for a long long time and may not recover! My boss actually wants us to win a flag to see what I’ll do so they expect me to go ballistic and go missing!
When Harvey played his first game in 1988, I was a 12yo wearing short pants and struggling with my readin', writin' and 'rithmetic in grade eight. Now, I'm a father of three and a retired AFL player. And he's still going. Amazing! - Michael Voss

I'll smile, and then try to go back to sleep immediately in a vain attempt to resume the dream,

I will commission a special bottle of sake with the Saints emblem embossed on the bottle commemorating the flag.
I’ll drink it.
And go to heaven. (With a headache)

I’ll buy a pool...
The kids have been begging for a pool and i told them I will 100% buy one when the saints win a flag. They were stoked, thinking legitimately it’ll happen this year or next..
Little do they know..!

That’s my plan. Maybe the crest rather than the stickman. But that might hurt more.diddley wrote:Simple. I’ll get a Stickman tattoo.
Will be my first tattoo.

I work Saturdays 4pm till 11pm. I’m not a good watcher so will still be at work checking the score. I’ll celebrate Sunday I haven’t had a drink since July 2007 so will just wear my jersey out to a shopping centre lol
And yeah I might finally get my second tatt Saints crest with 1966 and 2021 on it next to my Ned Kelly one

Hey! That's my plan! Get your own!

When we do salute, the celebrations will make "The Naked Lunch" look like a documentary.

It is fun to think of the Tatt thing...so many designs and ideas to mess with.stevie wrote: ↑Mon 08 Mar 2021 4:50pm I work Saturdays 4pm till 11pm. 1) the crest
2) the stickman
3) the barrel-chested Freddy Flintsone charging with a footy that looks the size of a pea in one hand. (Remember that one? )
Various combinations.
If we won a flag, it wouldn’t just be for these boys though...I would wanna find a place for all those warriors that kept trying, from Barks to Harvs to Roo ...I might need a Sergeant pepper like montage with a great Saints cross coming out from behind to fit in all my hero’s. Nicky Winmar too!
Man, boy are we dreaming...it’s twelve days away! Can’t believe it.. but these 12 days are our last time to dream as innocents. Well be full of it come Monday March 22nd! Lol

As a life long Saints fan i've learnt to not get too optimistic about our chances.
Can't wait for Round 1.
Can't wait for Round 1.
The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?
