Did I hear right?
I think Brian Taylor or one of his cohorts claimed during Sunday's game that our young Captain had the most ever tackles of any player in their first one hundred games. Or were my ears deceiving me?

I think Lenny Hayes holds the most tackles in AFL so he must be doing well if he is ahead of Lennie

Yep, and to think we traded round 2 pick to GWS who selected Brent Daniels, a small forward who has played almost 50 games but his stats next to Higgins who was in same year draft and also 22 are not as good.
I think we absolutely flogged GWS on that trade.
I'm not sure anyone has gotten a better return from a GWS player so far?? Can anyone think of a better player to come from GWS and perform like a champion?

Steele about a hundred games and 650 odd tackles
Hayes about 300 games 1400 odd tackles
Both tackling machines but Steele averages around 1t per game more
Hayes did have the all time record, I think Matt Priddis may have overtaken him now though?

Accumulating tackles will be harder under the new rule change.
The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.
