Great. Needs to do more. Isn’t even at contests.
Getting burned off way too easily. Once Walsh gets the running, Seb is falling off the pace too quickly :(

Is he actually playing on Walsh?
When they have been matched up, he has been left for dead.

Walsh has had 14 touches and 2 goals.

I hope that’s not who Ross is apparently tagging…

McKay has taken 3 marks. One on Wilkie.

No defender is stopping that kick from Obiren not many defenders allow for Webster to completely screw up.
Your football IQ is in the negative Curly, I dont know why we sucked in to responding to you!

Excuse me???? Howard is standing where he’s meant to be Webster picks that up he can push even further up. You can’t defend a skill error.

Well that is very damning for him

Walsh has been close to their BOG

I get the feeling that BM is going to argue that Ross is only tagging whichever players aren’t ever on screen

Our midfielders have no understanding between each other. They are all going for the same ball, leaving their opponents to run free once the ball gets out of the zone. Jones, for all his hard running is like a headless chook sometimes. Dunstan has had the most possessions but has done zero with them. Crouch struggling, Ross missing in action.

Honest answer

How is Howard going tonight?

Be truthful!!!

And yes, the midfield is poor. Steele aside and the scrappy Dunstan they are out spreading us
And unbelievably winning clearance!!!

I expected this with Ryder doubtful, Carlton would always be too tall and too fast our only chance is if we’re in tank mode.
Any team with Hunter and Kent on the field does not have much chance I once thought John Ronaldson was probably the worst player going around at this level but these two would have made him look good. Higgins, Clark and Highmore were also going to be under done so not really a surprise to be in the position the big surprise would be if we can turn it around

Poor.

Turning the ball over and not giving his man any respect and is getting touched up.

His kick was appalling cost us a goal. He hasn’t lost a aerial contest though.

Ryder should have played if he was at all able to.
Hannebery should also have played. He would have offerered more than some of them out there tonight, that's for sure, even if it was only for a half. He is on massive coin and we really need him out there.

Because you can’t lose a contest if you’re not in it!

And he did lose one to McKay over the back in the first.

What I cant believe is Carlton go into the game with 1 ruckman yet Ratten feels the need to play Hunter, who has proven in every game he has played to be an absolute spud. Hunter was even losing the ruck taps to Jones in our forward 50 FFS. Surely the club could give Cooper or Clavarino a game ahead of Hunter.

In the 2nd half I would sub Hunter out and play Membrey as the relieving ruckman and Cooper forward. Byrnes to go into the middle in Couches spot to change. Move Long or Hill up onto the wing.
