Do you think he also knew that Brad's best days may have been:
"Over the" Hill
Or do you think he suspected that he might be a:
"Down" Hill "Skier"

I would say what they want, we don’t have. He will be at Carlton or hawthorn next year.bangaulegend wrote: ↑Tue 24 Aug 2021 3:24pm Has told Freo he want's out would we have to give up to be a chance to pick him up ?

Re: Adam Cerra
He is exactly what we need but unfortunately we don't have the bargaining power, unless they've got an interest in a combination of Dunstan, Lonie and a later draft pick.

Re: Adam Cerra
And we would need him to want to come to the club but he's nominated Carlton. Done deal.

Re: Adam Cerra
If anything in the media can be believed, half the Carlton Board aren't keen on Lyin, something about a payout to a female staffer has them concerned ?

Peter Bell would end up in hospital over that offer, something to do with almost laughed himself to death.

The linked media report says Cerra wants to come back to Victoria, it also says Cerra has YET to nominate a club.bangaulegend wrote: ↑Tue 24 Aug 2021 4:51pmSorry I didn't realise he had already nominated Carlton That's a bummer probably but wouldn't have come to us anyway ,oh well 1 to strike off the list

Re: Adam Cerra
Not sure how Carlton can afford him anymore than we can.
Lose Dunstan, Ross and Billings and surely there's room there, not to mention Carlisle, Frawley, etc

Re: Adam Cerra
HE wants to go to Carlton and what he is asking for is Too much in my opinion and that of many clubs by the look of it.
Looks like Carlton will need to cough up 1st rounder, SPS and perhaps a 2nd for Cerra and perhaps a 3rd back.

Re: Adam Cerra
If you think about it they have Zac Williams, Patrick Cripps, Mitch McGovern, Harry McKay, Jack Martin, Caleb Marchbank, Jacob Weitering and potentially Sam walsh on good coin.
So how could Carlton possibly afford him?

Re: Adam Cerra
Lonie is a restricted free agent.
If Freo want him they only have to make him an offer.
St Kilda will not match.
Dunstan is a restricted free agent if Freo want him they can make him an offer.
St Kilda then can match.
Only then does Freo have to bargain.
The same applies to Billings.

Sebastian Ross and Luke Dunstan are both Unrestricted Free Agents.
Both can freely go to the team of their choice.

I'm not bothered by which players go, it's who the club recruits to replace them that has me concerned.saintsRrising wrote: ↑Wed 25 Aug 2021 1:21amSebastian Ross and Luke Dunstan are both Unrestricted Free Agents.

Re: Adam Cerra
Saints are a much more attractive option for A. Cerra. I think we must be a good chance.
Carlton is in disarray in all areas. Mackay is their standout asset - we have King who is far better. Cripps is just about done, like Fyffe at Freo. Steele is in his prime.
Hannebery's salary cut and the delistings this year will mean we can pay well.
We are looking like finalists, Carlton are way off. We have an exciting young group on the up that he can hook up with.
I think we are a v. good chance and am hoping Adam is the man Tony74's hint alluded to.
Bell can be obstructive but most clubs can play brinkmanship quite well. In the end Bell cannot make Adam stay, which is a good starting point.
