Another Obee?
From Heraldsun.com.au
FRINGE HAWKS MADE TO WAIT ON NEW DEALS
"Hawthorn has told many of its out-of-contract players they will have to wait until the end of the VFL season before it can make a decision on their future.
It means players including key back Tim O’Brien might have to look elsewhere for certainty, with the Western Bulldogs one potential landing spot.
The Dogs are determined to find not only another ruckman but also a key back given their issues this year, which has left them exposed when injuries have hit.
O’Brien’s last six weeks as an intercepting tall impressed rival clubs and he played a strong 19-game season.
At 27 he isn’t front of mind in the plans of clubs, but the decision to leave multiple players hanging in exit meetings means many are left in limbo for multiple weeks."

Re: Another Obee?
Another medium tall, who can’t quite nail a position in either attack or defence.
He is pretty tall at 193 but is light at 83kg
In 9 years he has play 97 games at Hawthorn
He is a third tall - we have Those sorts of players

Re: Another Obee?
That makes him the same height as Battle. Hawks fans are constantly frustrated with him and Mitch Lewis - O'Brien is renowned as attempting to take 5 speccies a match landing none but giving away 3 frees in the process. Their Kozzie is much more highly regarded
Go you red, black & white warriors

Wan Kanobee
Seriously, was drafted after White. White was delisted and had more talent than this guy. This guy is only there as a backup. Any other credentialed player would have thought about leaving after the 4-5 year mark with no certainty to make top 22. This guy stuck around because there were no takers...

Re: Another Obee?
If he leaves Hawthorn, another club, doesn't have to be the Saints, will get him for sure.
The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?
