I honestly believe we can beat the Dees if Gawn, Oliver, May and Petracca all contract COVID before the weekend. But it will still be close!

More seriously, even the best teams can be beaten if they have an off day. But, if Melbourne play to their usual form, they are certain to win: and bringing in the likes of Byrnes and Highmore won't make any difference to that. In fact, it could be a negative, in that the most important thing we need to perform as well as possible on Sunday (win, lose or draw) is great teamwork. So minimum disruption is the best way to go.

Marshall for Campbell of course. And probably Jones and Billings for Windhager and NWM. These changes will not disrupt our structure too much, and they will enable Jones and Billings to enjoy the reduced on-field time that has been given to the two first-year players.

If we are to have any chance, which is unlikely, we need to make a few few changes to improve our skills, pace and decision making.
In Marshall, Jones and Billings, Out Campbell, Butler and Windhagger. Could also reward the likes of Highmore, Connolly and Owens, all playing well at Sandy, Lienert if not in the 22 needs game time at Sandy, Webster and Long could make way, NWM stays we need his skill and he gains more confidence each week.

We may be able to give the Dee's a fright, but certainly not the way the OP indicated. Too many in's and out's which appear to be triggered by a knee jerk reaction after a wet weather game and after the traveling players spent two days of distractions in undertaking many community activities in the tropics, including two junior AFL football clinics.

I wouldn't hold my breath on Clarko, I believe he is in the USA doing research on new teams entering various leagues on behalf of the Tassie AFL Campaign. I think there is more likelyhood of him eyeing off a position in Tassie of some sorts.
