But I doubt any of our NGA will be rated or bid on in the top 40.
This has aged well  Looks like we could miss one if he goes top 20.
Time will tell I guess? Of course other clubs are going to say what has been reported, they want the Saints to use their earlier picks on them. Twomey who is usually on the money has them at 40-50 so we will see how they go?

If they go earlier (top 20) there is not much the club can do, but use what ever other later picks they have wisely.

Twomey has Windhager at 26.

Highmore can't kick.

Brander can't kick and is uncompetitive.

Brander isn't as promising as Battle so yeah, no thanks.
But, if you think Highmore can't kick, I'd suggest you stop looking for the umpires mistakes and posting about them in the matchday thread, it clearly distracts you from the play and jades your perception.

I don’t think Highmore is a good kick, but he seems ok, in his first few games he was horrendous,

But that may have been some nerves?!

Brander would be close to the worst kick in the AFL - shocking

WCE would not be letting him go if he was any good!

I'm pretty sure it was Highmores garbage kick that caused Clark to get knocked arse over v Adelaide. Look I like Highmore in the air but his kicking is no good.

I see the positives more often and tend to go with that. I've seen him kick a few shanks, for sure, but he drops his eyes and has a ping rather than just Seb one out of there.

BM may be closer to the mark for me. Technique and composure on kicking is probably the problem.
His composure on a physical task is undeniable. His work rate on and off the field is obvious.
He has come from the back waters of NSW to the SANFL to the AFL in a short time, so I'll hold my opinion on his negatives for now. CAN'T kick is still a stretch in my opinion, composure comes with exposure.

Does anyone know our new fitness guy if he is any good.
I know he came from GWS but they also had a lot of injury's last season this is part of the club that is crucial if we are to compete with the other teams we carnt have most of our players side-lined again it just affects performance.

It's all speculation until the draft about where the Saints NGA players will go.
From all the draft watcher talk it seems like none of them are first round picks, but you never know
which club wants to do the Saints over with picks 16 to 20.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Genuinely think we have a bit of tradable currency as well.
Looking really good and even more so with Heath showing why he would have gone Top 10 if he waited for the draft.

Windhager and Owens just look like AFL footballers and NWM is showing why he was the best kick in the draft.

Owens, Windy and NVM. This is the type of draft that wins you premierships. Getting 1 good one in a draft is gold, 2 is rare as hens teeth. 3 Is like finding a Unicorn in Atlantis. We've made off like bandits.with this lot.

Heath and Sharman as well. Heath is going to be elite

NVM kicking is sublime…but he needs that first goal! At the moment he looks a bit nervous in front of the big sticks. Would’ve been awesome had he slotted the one where he ducked and weaved (think it was in the 2nd quarter)

Once he gets the monkey off his back with the first I reckon it’ll open up for him from there

I believe you are way too generous. We certainly do not have 2 NGA kids rated in the top 25.

We may have one in Owens which is welcome, but even he is probably not top 30.
Just as I posted earlier in the year.

Horny Francis has been a bit inconsistent but I wouldn't write him off just yet .... if he can sort out his pippy lip he can play

Happy with Windy though
