We are definitely interested. The Saints tried to get him under academy rules but we got knocked back by the AFL.

However, the club would have to be extremely lucky to get him in the mid season draft. A number of clubs with picks before us are also interested. Realistically can't see him lasting until pick 14.

This kid can play anywhere. A very handy pick-up for whoever gets him. I hope it's us.

Was just scrolling through the herald sun mock draft…couldn’t believe John Ralph having us picking up a 192cm defender!! El Nour.
Talk about a lack of awareness of our list..unbelievable.

He would be nice but other clubs well before us Essendon & Sydney have also shown interest.

Jon Ralph is a fabricator, he writes nonsense to fill column inches.

He should have BSA after his name in his byline.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

With only 1 selection in the MSD, will we go Tall, Medium or Small ?

I hope we go tall, if there is a decent one available at pick 14.
Gags will let me know this evening, i hope he doesn't select Pass.

Why didn't we have 2 picks for the Hayes injury we didn't have to use the second one but it gives us options with 2 picks.

A bit of an anti climax, but obviously our list managers/recruiters have identified other options for later in the year. We might have our claws into a player like Taranto & Amon, plus 2 or 3 picked up in the draft will make list spots tight.

Yes, Hugo was from reports certainly a player that we were interested in.

Probably there would have been others. But in all cases any player that we believed was worth taking was gone before our pick.

And indeed all but most other club also thought that as there was only four later picks and none by the time our second pick would have been if we had one.

Because our list management team had already decided that there was not enough quality to use on a second player. Given that we did not even use the one pick, they were correct.

Remember that to keep a MSD player on in 2023, that you have to delist a current player.
