Carlton have double.

Butler tapped the ball in front got tackled which was holding the man. No umpire pays holding the ball.

Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera is so clean with the footy, and so good with his decision-making. He is going to be one heck of a player

Howard needs to grab some of those marks, Webster panics under pressure, Higgins has no defensive game, NWS good, but jeez the midfield needs to step up and play one-on-one pressure

A game of ebbs and flows, one minute we look good then the next Carlton do.

Unfortunately we have some blokes who just need to keep it bloody simple instead of trying to be smart (Higgins, Butler, Howard etc) and some who should not be allowed to kick the ball (Ross, Crouch, Wood etc).

Hill looks great with the ball attacking, but unfortunately the bloke can barely defend, which can be a problem occcasionally when you play in the backline!

And our forward setup is still a problem. The down-the-ground footage at a quick centre break showed all our blokes were already more than 25m out, leaving no space to lead in to! Very frustrating.

Soon as the ball hits the deck in our forward half it's gone, and this is where the midfield needs to do more.

Five frees in a half of footy when we’ve been in the game.

A much better effort Saints, hopefully they can keep it up for the entire game.

Sinclair, Ryder, Hill, Jones and Gresham have been great. I wished Crouch would move more when he wins or receives possessions, he would be so much more dangerous.

Honestly Howard couldnt catch a cold in the antartic he is that out of form, wih judging the flight of the ball it scary. Then he has one effort and is completely gassed, there is something not right with him.

Otherwise we have given ourselves a big chance of a win if we are good enough.

Battle having a shocker. How many times can you get under the ball and misjudge the mark or the spoil FFS?

Crouch and Ross are slow. Most of the rest doing something.

Good fighting effort so far but we are making more mistakes so will probably end up being overrun by a fairly good team

Roughie must go …..not up to being forward coach ……at times King looks pathetic with confidence shot not chasing or competing and keeps leading to pockets . Hill needs to learn how to handle a tackle and handball it out

The effort is there tonight. We aren’t bombing it as much

Need to keep working and run and support.

Steele, Ross, Billings and Crouch need to lift their work rate

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Yeah one minute it looks like he’s done his ACL, next minute he’s running to the next marking contest.

Odd

King’s EFFORT has nothing to do with Roughie, King just needs to be switched on more and make 2nd and 3rd efforts when it hits the ground.

The forwards need to work harder at leading, too much trying to out-muscle, need to mover around a bit more

Yep I think that’s an ACL for Howard, can’t change direction.
