He's seen lots of footy over the years, so I have to respect his opinion on Steele.
I personally look at players like Lachie Neale and Scott Pendlebury as being super elite.
I have Steele close to them, but to hear Hodge say Steele is the best and hardest worker he's ever seen 🤩
Hodge was making a different point, not one that makes a comparison with the likes of Neale valid.

How many 'medals' did Hodge win? How good was he when it really mattered?

Steele's performance..last night...was epic. Right from the get go, he went mano on mano with Cripps in the middle, and towelled him. That set the standard, and 'tone'.

5. Membrey - match winner (10 coaches votes)
4. Sinclair - elite
3. Hill - set the tone early taking the game on
2. Steele- tireless
1. Marshall

Question: Should Ryder now be a key forward who pinch hits in ruck? Could he play another two years as a key forward? He has the craft, demands attention, applies pressure and can do the forward ruck work.

Might be a win/win for Ro and the club?

Surprised reading the votes that there is not more love for Hill.

I thought he got us going early setting the tone for hard running attacking footy through the middle.

Also hit targets.

You could have any of 10 or 12 players in your votes AFAICS

Controversial

To clarify_ Best from the top! i.e. Sinclair, 2nd best Marshall ......
All said and done Crouch was as instrumental as Steele and I guess it was a toss up.

I mean - everyone votes one way - but I have to make allowances for some

However - having said that at least people are voting this week

And Consistently:
So far 405 votes cast and over 375 for the top 6

LOL - I was not confused - vote how you want - I usually make sense of it

At least you use their names - a while back I has a sheet on what everyones PERSONAL nicknames for players was.

Jones has taken some stick here recently, but I thought he had his best game in yonks. Credit where it's due.
