No Ratten fan but King has let him down tonight.
If it was a one off then okay, agree. But why the f*** has something not been done to fix it. That’s on the coach.
💯

Webster injury was the difference
Totally disagree.
Cameron was cutting him to ribbons.
Paton kept him quiet and Jones had best game in 2 years.

bigcarl wrote: Fri 12 Aug 2022 11:29pm Had our chances, but the forward line is a real concern. Can't kick for goal.

King needs to spend all summer working on it. And if he can't get on top of it, get him out of the forward line.

On the positive side, Windhager, Owens and NWM are going to be guns.
Look we missed absolute sodas so that’s on the players but yes it’s “kick n hope” stuff going inside 50 we’ve had no system all year …ball movement deplorable
Lions scored with ease - our pressure up the field is non existent
My guess? Lade keeps his job Rath keeps his job cause “we are all in this together..”
Just not good enough

But at least they gave it a crack
How many " at least" do we have to put up with ...just win a f****** clutch match FFS
At one stage we looked like getting thumped. “At least they had a crack”

We were outclassed all night yet if we had of kicked straight we had it

Interesting that the Guys on Fox Footy said the gameplan St Kilda plays has been left behind, Gary Lyon said, "i hope that has been a learning for them tonight".

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Max King hang your head in shame.
He should be dropped next week and I don’t care if we have no-one to come in.

Just when Jones finally plays a good game, Steele and Clark have quiet ones.

We played one good quarter.

Think we might have found the tall key defender we need in King certainly never likely to be a good forward can start at CHB next week preferably at Sandy. Sharman to full forward might not get as many shots but will kick more goals

We desperately need another tall marking forward another tall key back and some dash and skill through the middle

Windy Owens & Nasiah have had decent 1st seasons and should be better for the experience and hopefully some more growing/size to come
