I’m a big fan of RR for a treat. Their buttermilk wings are quite nice and have way less batter than other similar outlets

Careful fellows of that fatty crap you are putting into your bodies. At least if you have to dine out on it 🤢, do your bodies a favour and don’t op for the drive thru option. Park your car in the car park and give yourselves a teeny weeny bit of exercise walking to and from your car to the fast food store.

Word of caution fellows, beware of those Buddha bellies you’ll grow if you eat too much fast food crap. Not to
mention you’ll make yourself susceptible to heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes etc.
Worse still, shock ‘n horror, you won’t be able to find your ‘Percy’ hidden under that lardy, Buddha belly.

As a vegan, Percy and I still wander the same voluptuous valleys we did in our 20s and with tbe same youthful enthusiasm and exuberance.

A chemically cage ripened creature boiled alive and then cooked in trans fatty acids isn't that appealing to Pecy and I.

If you want to stay away from the trans fatty oils you can just eat their roasted chook.

Red Rooster never used to serve fried chicken but they do these days. KFC copy cats

I’d rather cook my own or head to my local free range charcoal chicken

I knew a chicken farmer once who claimed "free range" status but his birds were in cages, he claimed they were free to move around in their cage as much as they wanted.

Never eaten Nandos, Red Rooster or Hungry Jacks. Probably decades since I had the Kentucky fried crap.

Much prefer Chinese, Turkish or Indian takeway food.

There's a PhD in this.

How do we know that weren't going to sign on without a coach change?
That may be so, but looking at the overall scenario since the post-season review and all of the events emanating from that process, there would not have been a single story about St Kilda in the past 6 weeks in the media, let alone positive ones.

It actually started on 4 October when Geoff Walsh came out with a home truth that St Kilda FC was quite irrelevant in the AFL, put it in a nutshell!

I understand that some supporters will continue to have doubts about that this massive shake-up will result in our footy team improving in 2023.

But I for one am quite certain that something had to be done to change the dynamics, because after showing a glimpse of promise in 2020, which raised our hopes, the team has languished badly in 2021 and 2022.

All of the AFL journos who initially criticised the club for sacking yet another coach went on to concede that under Ross Lyon the team wil more than likely imrove in 2023.

That analysis is correct because in both 2021 (10/12) and 2022 (11/11) the team showed quite good form to finish just short of the 8, a position that St Kilda supporters by and large reckoned wasn't too bad!

Would Brett Ratten have been able to get the team to do better than that and play finals in 2023?

We'll never know, but I think there'e little doubt that the change from Ratten to Lyon, combined with the return of Hayes, Harvey and Goddard, plus David Misson, will most definitely get the players to lift their performance off and on the track, and combined with different game plans see them win at least 3 or 4 more games next year.

I'm quite sure the marketing execs at the club's commercial sponsors had the same view Vortex, because above all they like to see positive stories about St Kilda appear in the media, I would even argue that the profiles of Lyon, Hayes, Harvey and Goddard are so much more dynamic than of those who represented the club in recent years.

Ratts had no control over the injuries we copped in 2021 and 2022.

Lyon and Banger and Lenny need a lot of luck. Hopefully we don't have as many injuries as we did the last two years

It's most likely that two years from now you'll be looking for a scapegoat and someone to blame if we don't improve. Bassat will probably leave before the proverbial hits the fan

I have two words for you Sanctorum

Last time I had McDonalds was 1990.
Never had Hungry Jacks.
Wouldn't have had KFC or Red Rooster since Stan was our coach.

But I loves me a Nandos hot peri peri chicken/ Mediterranean salad with extras olives (no fetta) or a Grilld chicken burger.
I like to kid myself the Grilld option is healthier, they are certainly better quality and fresher ingredients than Maccas.

I've been to a couple of kids parties at Maccas and I recall the burgers being much larger when we were young, or is that just me reminiscing on how things were better in our day :D . The cheese burgers now look like a slider, not a burger.

Nandos is the only one of that bunch I'd eat at.
I tried it because a couple of my kids worked there part time when they were at school/ uni.
Burgers aren't great but the chicken tenders and full birds are pretty good.

I'm quite sure the marketing execs at the club's commercial sponsors had the same view Vortex, because above all they like to see positive stories about St Kilda appear in the media, I would even argue that the profiles of Lyon, Hayes, Harvey and Goddard are so much more dynamic than of those who represented the club in recent years.
talk is cheap, like a mouse in a wheel, at what point does one decide to jump sideways.

my faith has turned me full agnostic, show me a cup and I'll believe.
As you said your a vegan with a wandering Percy, wouldn't you prefer a hairy goblet over a cup 😉
Like parsley on my favourite dish, hair is easily pushed to the side to get to the pleasure centre...or in footy parlance....the cup.
