If you go back to RLs first press conference he said the appointment of Walsh was crucial in getting his own signature to sign on as head coach. His 4 pillar belief came from his days at Sydney.

I reckon it could be Paul Roos, for multiple reasons, not least that he led the revival of Melbourne that ultimately resulted in breaking a 57 year premiership drought.

Has worked with Ross Lyon and would certainly command the latter's respect.

Bring it on!!!

I wouldn't be surprised if it's Noble. Serious question, who would be considered a good replacement out there?

Neil Balme has been replaced in his role by his under studies, and is now meant to be helping out with the corporate stuff at Richmond. I wouldnt be surprised if Bassatt has waved a good superannuation figure in front of him and pryed him out of Tigerland.

I understood Mr Noble cut Mason Wood and apologised for telling his players home truths. Both seem significant errors of judgement.

Interesting you don’t rate Elshaug (nor do I after McCartin)
But you idolise Lyon, who rates Elshaug as a mentor and even called him to get advice on the StK job.
Oh geezus I just don’t have the strength to educate.
Ok.

Rings a bell.

I thought that was after he finished coaching Sydney.

NFI tbh.

Coached the Waikiki Hoolas to final of Pearl Harbor Cup. Knocked off by the 5-0's. Came down to the last wave.

David Noble would have to be a strong consideration
I don't think so, Noble has a new job at DJR (Dick Johnson Racing) as CEO.

Seems appropriate.

Good spelling not a prerequisite at Dimmeys.

I gather the club believes Misson is up to the job? I have always believed things happen for a reason, so perhaps Dave Misson will be exactly the right man for the job.

Without knowing what Walsh's personal circumstances are, is it possible they may improve enough for him to return and recommit to the position?
