Synchronised suffocation of opponents (while taking everyone else's breath away) is better.

The only way to improve is to try new things. If it works, keep it. If it doesn't, ditch it.

I know for a fact that some players really liked it. It helped settle the peak of nerves/anxiety that takes over just before the game starts.
Clearly wasn't for everyone but some players need to stabilize themselves before the game.
