Not Stkilda - Clayton Oliver rumour
Wonder if anyone else has heard the Oliver rumour?
My Original thoughts were rubbish but now announced he will miss extra weeks with hammy which was delayed having been in hospital due to infection suddenly becomes more likely true.
Clubs and AFL love to hide stuff behind injuries so would think now more likely true than not.
Anyone for baseball!

Re: Not Stkilda - Clayton Oliver rumour
My thoughts on Oliver, without any information or anything to back it up, other than suspicion. Does anyone else think this is a suspension type lay off? The kind that can come from a higher power. The kind that has seen other seemingly fit AFL players miss blocks of games, whether that is 4, 6 or 8 weeks.

Re: Not Stkilda - Clayton Oliver rumour
Don't care unless it affects us.
Didn't give a rats about JDG's shenanigans either until he was linked to us with a trade.
That said, if Oliver wants to come to us, I think i'd ignore just about any rumour.

I don't understand the first para of Otiman's comment and although I don't follow other clubs very much, I do believe everything related to other club's can affect the Saints and visa-versa.

Re: Not Stkilda - Clayton Oliver rumour
Would not have thought there's a snowball's chance in hell of Oliver coming to St Kilda, he is on contract to Melbourne until end 2030, wishful thinking maybe??

Exactly, so I don't care about him. If he wants to get himself in trouble, go for it.

Re: Not Stkilda - Clayton Oliver rumour
I’m sick of this
Why can’t Lyon just come out and truthfully tell us what’s wrong with Oliver???
Disgrace

The stories about Oliver, where nothing is actually said, that includes here, continue.

Re: Not Stkilda - Clayton Oliver rumour
Even then, I didn't care.
I was always more concered with JDG's honesty with his club. He was hard to trust early.
No issue with that now.
And imagine what a difference to our team he would have made. Here we all are lamenting our ordinary midfield and we were critical of recruiting one of the best in the game.

There's a photoshopped tweet with his exact handle, and he didn't know until MFC contacted him about it.
It's been deleted.
I'm in Perth so you Melb residents saw it on the news at 6pm your time.
I can't delete my original post as it's been quoted on here, so this post is me saying Whoops

Yeah, I'm with you. Let's tell him No if he wants to come
Waddya think about us re-recruiting Paddy McCartin if he is delisted from Sydney?
