Omg the tosses on here saying we were losing because we wore a “woke” jumper. Yep we have worn our regular jumper for over 100 years, how has that gone for us? How many woke jumpers did we wear in 80’s?

I haven't checked his stats this yr, but I imagine he's averaging under 6 tackles/game, under 22 possies...no longer 'elite' he will be 'average'

We haven’t hit rock bottom. Rock bottom is where Wet Toast are at the moment. This is more like a wake up call.

We haven’t dropped out of the top 8 since round 1. The competition is pretty even this year. We are lucky where we should be when we had the comps biggest injury list going into round 1. We have exceeded expectations.

I think the sub has gotten used to being such a good side like where in the first 6 rounds. It’s because people came to play us and thought they would smash us and we took it to them and won.

We have been found out.

Steele isn’t a plodder. He showed a lot today and I thought he was coming back to his old form. Don’t mock a champion of the game. Shows more courage than a lot of you.

I understand the emotion of this thread and the OP. Sometimes it’s best to hold fire. I went and had dinner during the third quarter, I couldn’t bear to watch anymore. Turned on just before 3/4 time and thought, what a great effort!

Let’s be honest, this was not a bottom team, regardless of what the ladder says. They had at least six premiership players in their team and they were playing with genuine intensity. It obviously surprised us and I didn’t think we would be good enough to respond. I was actually rapt with the win.

People need to lower their expectations. It’s not gonna be our year this year. We’re not going to finish top 4. Let’s enjoy every win
