Would have lost by 10 goals without Marshall.

Still, for the right price anyone is tradeable.

I'd certainly look at it if we got 6 No 1 picks in the next 6 years and a smattering of No 2 picks.

No I'd knock that back...

Unless they also give us a player...then it's a deal

Throw in Blake Acres and get it done ✅👍

What about for Grundy and Petracca/Oliver?
Ok that’s a bit fanciful, let’s say a top midfielder and a reasonable tap ruckman?
?

Marshall was the dominant ruck on the ground tonight.

Grundy and Gawn weren’t bad but Marshall was very very good tonight. I thought he was clearly the better ruckman and close to BOG.

Unless you’re going into a full rebuild - you don’t trade out quality players

Even then, it’s a gamble, there is NO guarantee whatever you get for a quality player - is going to end up near as good?

How can exiting high end talent improve your list - it’s a bad model

You don’t remember all the flags we won after trading Stewart for Barrow?🌚

Don’t drink

Teetotaller

The thread is for those morons who suggested we trade our only proven ruckman for some draft picks.

Marshall is an A Grader

You’re lucky if you get an A Grader with a DP

Meanwhile - wtf rucks?
Tom Campbell 56 games in 11 years at 3 clubs (31yo)
Max Heath 0 games
Isaac Keeler 0 games
Jack Hayes 194cm 5 games

Hmm… good plan!

I don't think we are far off discussing some type of rebuild but yeah I agree, Mashall is possibly a keeper either way, at the moment I'd probably have King ahead of RoMa as tradebait, he's starting to look like he's not a player you can build a team around which is why we recruited him, we played our best footy last night since round 4. For some reason he makes us look average in the forward line which has to be addressed.

Alrighty then, King to the Gold Coast for Noah (come home son, f*** the twins) Anderson and some spare change. 😁

Where have you been?

marshall's been our most important player for a few years now. what we need is decent support around him. no point losing him to get the support.

I wouldn’t even entertain that. Who knows what GOPs we would bring in while the next Petracca goes for picks 2 or 3.

Until we have an administration that demands success and a playing group that bleeds for the guernsey, St. Kilda will just be a sh*tty football club.

Yeah the twins aren't rugged enough for me, possibly because I like my marque forwards to be more Lockett-like and less track N field.

I've been enjoying a well earned break, did I miss anything?
