live stream overseas -- how? where?

Post: # 2023314Post avid »

We are suddenly in Italy, and hoping to watch us v Carlton.
Doesn't the AFL live steam it overseas?
I can't find it / don't know where to look.
(Kayo has a geo-location bar)
If anyone can tell me how to do this, we'd be very grateful.

If you have Kayo already, you can use a VPN but I found this very hit and miss.

I think it now detects the VPN, and will not play till it is turned off, and then the geo locator blocks.

I my recent trip though USA/Canada I watched my daughter's Foxtel account through a VPN and it work every time. However this has to be live so (no replays), was not always an option for us due to time zone difference. In Alaska our internet speed was poor though for the North game, so was very laggy.

However the AFL these days kindly loads up all games on afl.com.au, normally with 24 hours, which you can watch for free and so we watched some games that way.

PS. In past years Kayo was very good. Not so on our last trip to USA/Canada nor Europe last year.

You can watch live through the AFL app, I watched us play Nth Melbourne last year from Papeete Tahiti.

Think of me long enough to make a memory.
