Dud. It's a pity Daniel McKenzie hasn't had a few more games in the seconds. He's still better than Webster, as are 99.9% of AFL players.
He's better than that. He's not a dud. I was more pointing out when people shitcan Paton they then speak of Webster's disposals & decision making. I like Jimmy but his disposal is suspect. I would love him beside me in the trenches, even if he misses a few.

Bodes well for the future
Forget this year …it’s about building
We have the coach structure game plan
Players buying in
Big turn around this season
Have to recruit well …fill list gaps fix midfield..who knows

Good fight. Hayes stepped up a bit and Ronnie was very good

Only poor decision making and execution by the Lions when in attack has prevented us from being 50 points behind.

And the only shock trooper we have to shake things up in the second half is...Ryan Byrnes.

Oh and I suppose Jack Hayes: he's been almost invisible so far, so perhaps he can deliver a little bit in the second half.
So is Lyon now outcoaching Fagan?
Yep. Third quarter tactics much better.

Better quarter .... we are matching Brions on their home ground and they need the win for a Home Final .... without our key forward

Good signs

And, contrary to my sarcasm, Byrnes played really well that quarter. Hayes lifted too: Sharman better watch out, at this stage he looks the obvious one to drop when King comes back.

We were appalling in the first half: by rights we should have been about 6-8 goals behind. Do you deny that?

Absolutely
Even if we don’t win it’s a great effort
We are matching a top 2 side
