Lined up how?

Trade period done

Draftees rarely ready to assume key roles - esp talls for example Van Es

I am not sure a pick 60 odd will be better than Highmore even if Highmore is just a back up to Wilkie and Battle?

Ie/Adams and Connolly were late picks - weren’t even great VFL players.

Still cant believe we didnt have a crack at Goldstein...he went for nothing to Bombers.

I heard a mate say he was done, too old...played 20 games in 2023...averaged 3 MORE hit outs per game than Rowan...and he was free...free. If we pursued him as a player for 1-2 yrs and eventually a coach as Bombers have intimated they offered... I presume he'd be a Saint.

How good would it be to have a game legend guiding Heath in the ruck?

Mmmmm…

Everyone is saying he was a weak kick ..
I didn’t know that really.

I saw a guy who I thought would be a Shane Wakelin..

Poised and an easy mark good position and hands

Well so I thought

Played 16 games for ya in 2021?

Highlight against Adelaide?

But it is clear now he had deficiencies

3 games only in 2022
And none last year
I didn’t watch Sandy and posters here did
I’ll take their word for it.

As for Battle, I didn’t think he was a good key defender and was out of position sometimes ..I thought Tom was in the space more

But Battle brings many other attributes

Disappointingly, he can’t be a big mid like a petracca crisps Oliver type

Josh Battle has been solid but limited but I trust that he’s a better choice than Tom simply because everyone says do and I e seen Josh play some solid games

But let me say, I think our defence is overrated
Jake the snake Carlisle was a loss / I mean the best version / pre back trouble

You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!
