Billy Barrot for Stewart and then we traded Barrot to Carlton for Chandler.

What a disaster.

Don't worry Collingwood have had plenty too! We have come up with about 5 teams of hacks/draft woes et al from the early 80's.

Everyone's had them......
Muller was a very good player - just kept copping shocking injuries. Make no mistake the Blues were livid he left them to come to us. He was the next big thing as a KPP - just damned unlucky. He could play that bloke - don't worry about that!!

What about some of the stars of the mid 90's?

Chris Whittman, David Strooper, Adrian Burns, Glenn Nugent, Ian Aitken, Marc Arceri, Luke Beveridge, Jamie Elliott, Anthony Darcy.

And from the early 1980's the following South Australian's
Milan Faletic(kicked 5.5 in his first game and didn't do naything after)
Geoff Linke (played 2 games i think)
Geoff Slattery
Daryl Hewitt

But my favorite of all time would have to be Enrico Misso who we got from Essendon and played less than one full game.

Beveridge gave us reasonable service.

and Jamie Elliot seemed to have loads of talent, and then dissapeared, anyone know if he copped some injuries or something?

The rest of those blokes were hacks.

Throw in the Gowans brothers, Fred Campbell and Troy Gray also.

As I recall Jamie Elliott arrived at St Kilda recuperating from some sort of surgery...and never recaptured anything like the form that, at the time, made him seem like a good get from Fitzroy.

I always thought Tony Delaney was a bit maligned....thought in 2000 was far from our worst player..played some reasonable footy off HB..in a side than won 3 games for the year mind you

yep had 2 moments of fame.

Hit the post from a metre out against sydney in that infamous draw.

and kicked 4 or 5 against Geelong as we stormed home from 38 points down in the last term to lose by a point in that same season.

Careered affectively ended when his jaw was broken against westcoast in late 03.
Don't think he played another game after that.

Brooks surely - just on what he cost - traded 8 & 35 (which became 6 & 33)

Given he was taken by Port at 15 the previous draft - How the heck could his value increase after spending most of the year in the SANFL reserves

Matthew Capuano was a terrible trade. We gave him up half way through a season! Even when our ruck stocks were low!
