1. BJ -amazing marks in the defensive 50!
2. Roo- lead from the front, nice marking
3. grammy for the shot on goal- brought the house down
4. gwilty- was looking pretty damn good, definitely looks different in the F50.
5. Milney- always running and for the wild celebrations after the goal.

Joey very stiff to miss out as well as blakey and kingy was definitely flying the flag!

Nice to see a convincing win without Reiwoldt having to be superhuman to create it.

5 - Goddard: Did it all. Defensive marking, contested groundball in the middle and up forward. Kicked a goal.

Daylight

4 - Montagna: Could have gone either Joey or Fisher for 4, I'll lean the way of 31 disposals. Didn't strike me as having special individual disposals, but tie 31 of them together and that's a huge job in getting the ball from one end to the otehr.
3 - Fisher: Love his defensive marking. He's always been pretty good in a marking contest, but he's as good 1-on-1 now as he was as 3rd man in 2 years ago.

Daylight

2 - Hayes: Had to resort to the statsheet. His workrate struck me at the game, but 9 tackles...
1 - Gram: 29 disposals and a goal. THe progress of Gram and Goddard in converting to mids is a major source of hope.

Most of all, what I liked was it struck me as a real team effort. Even those who didn't trouble the statsmen too much were working and playing a role. Which isn't to say there weren't Saints to be criticised, but yesterday the sum was more than 22 parts.
