well done Davo...

He also wore 49 in 1975 - 1977

so that makes it 49 - for 3 years and 18 for 3 years

work out the winner now ric

St Fid...Did GT wear 49 in the reserves? My answer is based on when he played in the "ones". :)

You got me there buddy, I don't know....
I doubt whether GT wore 49 for 3 years in the reserves, but anyway as I said that wasn't the question.

the question was that no did GT wear during his career,

and he as worn 4 numbers

I phrased the question wrong, it should have said what number Grant wore MOST in his career at the Saints, which would be 18.

Sorry for the confusion.

Bill Cubbins......

St Kilda 1915 1919-27 and 1929-30 149 games 42 goals. Footscray 1931-32 and 1934 33 games 0 goals. Possibly the finest full-back of his era Cubbins had a stormy VFL career and had several stints with the Saints. He made his debut in 1915 but then enlisted in the army even though he was under age. He returned to St Kilda in 1919 and was made club captain for 1921-22. Cubbins was deputy to Dave McNamara in 1923 but again was captain in 1925. He crossed to Warrnambool in 1928 and had a third stint as captain of St Kilda in 1929-30. Cubbins also coached the Saints in 1930 but crossed to Footscray as captain-coach in 1930. A Victorian representative six times Cubbins was a splendid mark and a glorious long kick. Once during a spell with St Kilda he fell out with the committee and was dropped to the Reserves. He reacted by kicking 22 goals in the one match.

Yep, well done Davo....

When he finally retired from top level football in 1920 he was, at 43 years of age, the oldest player ever to have appeared in the VFL. He was also one of the best.

He had a 3 decade football career in 3 Australian states plus New Zealand.
and also won the Magarey Medal

Yay - My First turn.....

I played 24 games for the Saints and wore number 25. I was drafted from Dandenong and kicked 5 goals in my career. I am currently a bass player in a band playing the Vic metro circuit.

Who am I?

Trevor O'Hoy- Fosters. Unless you mean the new CEO of Hawthorn, but they are not a world renowned organisation.
