It is widely known in the Ammos that Luke has been appointed Coach of Sandy Dragons U18.

What has not been widely reported (at least no on here) is the fact that Wayne Oswald has joined teh MFC as their Development Officer

Oswald was previously the Manager of Sandy Dragons since their formation in 1992 (previously called Central Dragons and then Prahran Dragons) and is widely considered one of the best around in that role.

Andy Lovell is the Zebras coach and will work from both the Club and the Zebras, much as Hutchy did last year, so we expect even more from this relationship as there is no doubt that Sandy have a winning culture and a sound administration.

Just to clarify, Luke is coach of the Sandringham Dragons, the TAC U18 team.

Andy will coach the senior Sandringham Zebras.

Sautner won't let him anywhere within the 50 metre area.

Thats his territory, and you enter it at your peril.

Played that way all his career and has kicked bags of goals as a result.

Not a popular human being at any club he has been at, but sure knows how to lead, mark and kick a goal.

Does Nick Sautner still work at Telstra Dome. Have heard him previously described as Collos' bitch.

That must hurt the Sandy Dragons,

First they appoint Luke Beveridge as Coach
Then they lose Wayne Oswald as Manager
Now they lose Beveridge.

No Manager, No coach!

Wonder if the Sandy Dragons will look at a bloke who lives in the area and has a bit of coaching experience, particularly with young developing players.

Grant Thomas anyone? Discuss.

Sandringham tapping into development
sportGeneral05 Nov 08 @ 05:07am by Brad Beitzel
DALE Tapping will coach the Sandringham Dragons in 2009, replacing Luke Beveridge, who has taken up a player development management position with Collingwood.

Beveridge had been in the role for less than a month when a door opened with the Pies.

Tapping, known to football lovers in the Bayside region for having coached Old Brighton to the VAFA B Section flag in 1997, has spent the past three years as a development coach with the Western Jets.

Prior to that the Level 3 coach was an assistant at Williamstown and coach of Old Scotch.
