Hey Folks,

Would love to know more about Tudor, is there an existing thread? Can anybody tell me more about his involvement with Geelong? What was he like as a player?

Will he be coaching midfield?

Cheers,

It was mentioned in a thread about assistant coaches. I believe he coached Geelong VFL to premiership.

Why was a thread on our assistant coach moved here?

Tudor was a GOP. Best remembered for the mongrel kick from the boundary that landed in the arms of Gary Ablett in the dying minutes of the '94 Prelim against North.

According to the official Saints website, Tudor will be coaching our Forwards

Elshaugh will take over coaching the midfield.

See Sainbrat's recent article in this thread.

Cheers,
Saintbrat's recent link has him as the Forward Coach with Elshaugh looking after the mids.

Was a small forward/midfielder as a player.

Has coached in his own right at underage level, and also spent several very successful years as a development coach at the Cats and coach of Geelong in the VFL.

Very highly regarded down there and initially refused offers to move to other clubs, before accepting one from the Saints.

Nice to see a positive spin on things. Not just rolling out the cliches.
I thing he'll more than make up for Barker and Rock collectively

I think the club should probably take down the "Sainters say" link which is at the bottom of that webpage as one of the "Quicklinks". It's role has been taken over by Saints Central and it hasn't been updated since July.
