Here comes Sam !!

The first footballer to make it through was St Kilda's Sam Gilbert in a time of 16min 53sec while Geelong's David Wojcinski was the first Cat to cross the line 18min 14sec, well ahead of teammates Tom Harley, Cameron Ling, Joel Selwood, David Johnson and Simon Hogan.

I feel comforted in the Knowledge that Sam is a very good open water swimmer, in the same mould as the great Trent Knobel

He really didn't have a very good year last year, lets hope he can build on his 2007 form

i have no doubt that he will serve this club for a long timeif he can only sharpen up his foot skills

Absolutely.

Has some nice natural traits but had a horror 2008.

Hopefully he can get back some of his x-factor in 2009.

when is Sam not Sam

when refining my search for the photos of Sam from today
I used Getty and got some interesting results

into search put- Sam Gilbert -St Kilda

came across atleast 3 other saints mis listed as Sam- one was also mistaken for our 2008 B&F winner.
