Saints Brownlow odds
Just had a quick look at the brownlow odds for 2009.
Roo at $21 is lowest odds saint although i like the $10 each way on BJ at $501 and $126 place.
Any other thoughts - or other teams prospects away from favorites -Judd, ablett etc

for what it's worth - the Herald sun preview http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/sport/ ... 42,00.html
ST KILDA
The Odds
NAB Cup: $13
AFL flag: $15
Wooden spoon: $51
Who's flying
Leigh Fisher is in excellent shape, having won the pre and post-christmas time trials. His prepation for training has pleased the coaching staff.
Who's hurting
Jarryd Allen is still on crutches after more surgery on the hip he injured in the 2008 semi-final win over Collingwood. Matt Maguire's foot is healing well on a modified program and he's an outside chance for the NAB Cup. Sean Dempster will miss most, if not all, of the year after requiring a full knee reco in the last home-and-away game of 2008.
Brownlow hope
Skipper Nick Riewoldt is the only Saint in the top 20 at $21 and equal eighth favourite. Luke Ball is at $101.
Game On
NAB Cup: Brisbane Lions at Gold Coast Stadium, Saturday February 14, 8.40pm.
AFL Round 1: Sydney at Telstra Dome, Saturday March 28, 7.40pm.

I think that our BJ might need to learn when to keep his gob shut if he is to be a serious brownlow threat !!Ice Wolf wrote:Unfortunately the odds on BJ are good cause the umpires seem to hate him.Richter wrote:Those odss for BJ are superb. Think I might just have a $50 flutter on him for a place..... IMO if we are a chance for a Granny he'll need to be up and about. Could just pay for a GF ticket?
