NEW SPONSORSHIP BANNER DESIGN FOR 2009 SEASON: Open!
OK...Entries are now being taken for the new banner featuring our 4 sponsored players. Guidelines are as follows:
* Banner must have our current SS logo and the names of our sponsor players. Pics of them are OK
* Size should be approx 700 x 250 pixels and ideally not be bigger than about 150Kb
* Obviously has to be Red, White and Black
*Entries must be posted on this thread to be in the running.
Entries close STRICTLY at the end of January..after which a poll will be set up to vote for the best entry, lasting for about a week. The winner of this poll will be the new banner for 2009 and will be uploaded to the site
If you have any questions PM an admin/mod or post here
Cheers

Just go with the cowboy.
EDIT: can you fit Warner on it? (I know he looked like a B-grade country cricketer last night, but surely his resemblence in name and face to the other Warne gives him a good enough link to the Saints?).

Ross Tungatalum - but unfortunately their is no photo available as yet on the saints site of him in a Saint JumperDarren wrote:I'd love to try and design a banner! Just want to ask a few questions.
1) As far as I know, Jack Steven, Raph Clarke and Nick Heyne are our sponsored players. Who is the 4th?
2) Do we have to replace the 2008 player images with the 2009 ones when they come out?

What position do they play? !!
Since we are sponsorig 4 players I think we need 4 female photos as well - which could be easily slved by a 'poll' of which of the Forum Princesses should be included? Or we could just add the photo of the Olsen twins?

Pretty good effort. Your best waiting for the official photo's of Tunga and Heyne. Also it might be a good idea to include a line of text naming the players.
A very good idea and with a bit of a tidy up should be very good.
Also for anyone wanting to know, the current font is Eight Track, from here: http://www.dafont.com/font.php?file=eig ... asst=alpha

I love it mate...
I would also like to see the original saintsational.com as another version for maybe a different board style.
and also with links to the official saints site, saints shop site and membership links...
But I just love your work

he hadn't shown us the new pictures with the black saintsationalRaven wrote:Love it, we have a winner IMO.
Can we see a version that has the original colours for the Saintsational.com text i.e. the black with red border?
but the original thoughts came across quite dark- especailly for those of us using the grey/white layout
would imagine even darker for those using the black layout.
