mod news
Hi guys.
Just announcing some moderating changes that have taken place.
We have promoted Armoooo to Moderator after a vote amongst our existing panel.
So please be nice to him as he finds his feet
and we would also like to announce that n1ck is taking a temporary absence from moderating as he goes away for a bit, but will be back in our ranks shortly.
Cheers.

Hey Grumps !!GrumpyOne wrote:Perhaps the existing Mods would like to explain how somebody gets to be a Mod.
Popular vote?
Holding the middle ground on all issues?
Blackmail?
Bribery?
All of the above?
The reason you & I haven't been invited to join this prestigous group is that we fall into the Blackmail & Bribery categories ONLY !!

Eastern, given you are rational and reasonable almost always, know and get on well with several mods, there is only one other reason you aint got the prestigous gig of mod....Eastern wrote:Hey Grumps !!GrumpyOne wrote:Perhaps the existing Mods would like to explain how somebody gets to be a Mod.

We basically throw names around with each other, weighing up the pro's and con's of our various options.GrumpyOne wrote:Perhaps the existing Mods would like to explain how somebody gets to be a Mod.

Then we basically discuss it, and make a choice. Very rarely do people apply.

Both John Howard and George W Bush are out of jobs at the present; was no consideration given to them?HarveysDeciple wrote:We basically throw names around with each other, weighing up the pro's and con's of our various options.GrumpyOne wrote:Perhaps the existing Mods would like to explain how somebody gets to be a Mod.

Hey, I put my hand up...half-heartedly. Given it's an internal affair, and that my application was in protest of poor moderation, I wouldn't have stood a chance right? Looking forward to more 20 page threads of abuse and BC dribble for the season ahead.HarveysDeciple wrote:We basically throw names around with each other, weighing up the pro's and con's of our various options.
