Saints player stats.. Reliable site re same.
I have just looked at the "Official AFL Site of the St.Kilda F.C." and they still have blank spaces beside Ross Choo Choo's name for his size details. You would think thaey would have done better by now.
Is there another site that would have player details on it?

I would doubt it.borderbarry wrote:I have just looked at the "Official AFL Site of the St.Kilda F.C." and they still have blank spaces beside Ross Choo Choo's name for his size details. You would think thaey would have done better by now.

Most of the stuff on the saints site comes direct from the AFL, hence the spelling error of Choo Choo's surname.
But the details and picture will have to come from the Club IMO.
I guess we will just have to wait

I'd prefer their efforts are focused on football issues. PR isn't the forefront of the operation at this time of the year, the only people that really think about footy are the true die hard fans.borderbarry wrote:Checking Ask Archie on Saints Central, he was asked last week a similar question (When will more up to date heights and weights become available) and he replied that they will be posted before the NAB Cup. Cant say I am impressed by their work ethic.
Once NAB cup rolls around, i'd expect all guns blazing on the PR front.

Don't know how much control the club actually has of that area of their own site - the AFL and most of the clubs outsource (everyone except Essendon) lock, stock and barrel.
They'd have to have some power to post content (remotely via CMS?) but stats, player details etc likely come from a central database which would not draw on anything down at moorabbin.
