Goose will not play when Dawson and Blake are in the team. And definitely not when Max is in. I doubt we'll this him this season unless we're hit by injuries.

Kerr and Nic Nat late withdrawals today as well....every little bit helps.
With Nic Nat out the the West Coast Fans will be hoping Big Cox is up for the contest. saints fans are hoping his groin is still a bit sore.

so dempster goes to a HB rotation, and frees up gram and goddard.

I assume Max would come in for Raph if max is fit, and King for Big mac

IMO this could free up Sam Fisher and Raph to play through the midfield in bursts. Interesting.

Maybe raph a little but Sam is far to valuable at half back to go into the middle.

I think raph could star in the midfield not sure if he's got the tank, but a big body presence and the guy has skill and pace.

Or maybe Ross will give Raph some time through the HFF.
I like the inclusion of Dempster. It gives us more balance and flexibility. Ross and the match committee obviously rate him highly. Go Saints you good things.

Dempster is our best 22 when fully match fit and conditioned.

He will also be important to us when we play the Pies or Dogs, both of whom have an abundance of small to medium sized forwards.

Could have sworn that some experts here reckoned Dempster wouldn't play this year.

For all you Goose-a-philes... he probably won't get a game this year.

Probably. He's obviously part of RL's plans come September, to be included so soon.

As is, dare I say it... Raph.

If Raph has a finals series like he did last year, and has 10-12 mates who do the same, we can start celebrating now !!

Raph isn't part of the plans unless Max is injured.

Let's hope so Eastern. I haven't bought in to the other Raph threads because they are pure nonsense. I'm not sure what supporters expect from the kid.

AFAIAC he'd be set minimum targets by the coach each week. If he fails to deliver, he'll get dropped. So as long as he stay's in, then obviously he's meeting his KPI's.
