Out Zac
In Steven

I'd usually say Ross persists with youngsters for little awhile before dropping them so Heyne would be safe, but Steven hasn't seemed to have that luxury this year.

Just curious if you have seen anything of Wil this year because he has been the least effective of the three backman we have down at sandy. Currently walsh would be number 1 IMO closely followed by gaertner. But neither will be selected.

Like te idea of

in: steven
out: dawson

or even

in: steven, armo
out: dawson, mini

but no change is my guess

in: steven or eddy
out: dawson, mcqualter or heyne

going the box rather than trying to nail it. no change is of course the other option.

surely with that lot i'll get close?

Would Walsh be a better bet than Dawson at this stage or does he need more development to get up to Dawson's level ?

In: Eddy
Out : McQualter

Eddy deserves a greater chance than he has got so far, Steven Geary Armo etc have had a couple games

Zac required for Tippett or Walker

We need pace.

I think Armo only got 10 possessions in the midfield and looked slow... last game.

Heyne has been given a difficult position on the hff.

So I'm hoping we play Heyne in the midfield ahead of Armo (before we'd consider replacing him with Armo) ... where Heyne would have a chance to get his possession count to over 20.

Walsh is probably well past Dawson already, but still needs more VFL time, so does Dawson. Probably going to end up a forward anyway.

Out: Mini
In: Steven

Not fussed if there's no change, these two are almost like for like and just as good as eachother on a good day. However, Mini's been off the boil at the top level, Steven has been very good in the magoos (and not bad in the seniors IMO).

Yeah, but IMO, Steven has a lot more "upside" than Mini.

You may be right Spacey, given what he's shown after 3 (?) games.
