Any word on what's up with BJ - hopefully just general soreness and nothing too serious. Obviously Kosi just didn't come up which is no surprise really

Flu? Maybe Ross was serious when he said it had gone through the club? :?

Of course...didn't think of that.

No point in playing him if he's not right. At least its nothing more serious. He has really stepped up again this year and need him fit and firing next week against the pies. THought it was weird Gram being named an emergency...thought there would be late changes.

Looking forward to sitting back and watching the game tonight....GO SAINTS!!

I guess we all hoped he was joking, maybe that's why Stanley didn't retain his spot as well?

Serious colds yes, flu no excuse - the flu injections really do work.

I suspect Gram was on the interchange for a reason - Goddard was never expected to be able to play.

Same with Pattison and Koschitzke.

I hope Riewoldt wasn't brought back a week early because of these two big outs.

I would have thought Stanley would have been in before Pattison. He seems a very ordinary player to put it kindly.

Stanley trained with Sandy on friday night, so he is playing there. I agree Stanley > Patto. Though maybe with finals in mind, and heading towards september they want to see what they can get from Patto if he is needed, Stanley has had his crack.

I think Pattison can go in to the ruck if needed. Prefer Stanley but he may be crook too.

I reckon a crook Stanley would still run faster, harder and tackle more than Pattison. :) Time will tell soon.

Nobody has the flu. They all had flu shots months ago. A couple of them may have a bit of a cold that wouldn't have stopped them playing.

You can still get the flu after having a flu shot...depends on the strains etc. We get given them at work if we want them and this disclaimer you have to sign actually says that there is no guarantee that you won't get it.
