Give us back our picks and Acres and we’ll give you Hill
I'd prefer Hill, NWM, DMac, Billings or even Butler on the wings to Acres. We traded Acres because our midfield was too one dimensional and our midfield is still a bit too one dimensional.

I think a poster on BF nailed Hill's current state of play. In that the wing position has changed, they are now required to help out in defence and have more of a defensive mindset. Hill is very much an offensive player (he doesnt like physical contact) and the game in part has moved past his skills set. No player should be excused for not being able to win their own footy and that's what Bradley wants. It simply doesnt wash any more...

Hill’s elite traits were endurance and speed with A grade disposal.

Hill does not look as fit or quick which affects his disposal as he has less time & space to work in.

Personal opinion only, but I think he’s a fat cat who probably doesn’t work like he did earlier in his career and his former elite endurance and speed is not what it once was.
The fact that he's happy to go to North, meaning at his age he is unlikely to ever play Finals again, would indicate that.

If that's true, then that's an indictment on Hill. If true.

Has Hill came out and said he's happy to go to North?

Sam Edmund, Caro, Robbo, Damo, et al.
They're just like the old drunk down at the pub (Definitely Robbo is the archetype) but the only difference is- they're getting paid to make up rumours 🤯😵

If you're referring to me, I wrote 'if true' twice. Not a typo, I repeated it for emphasis.

Rumour or not the leadership group should be showing a lack of trust in Hill based on some of his performances this year.

Is it crazy that the player leadership group would place demands on Hilly who is one of our most experienced and highly paid players to at least maintain his averages in key areas of his game and demand that his performances match his output from recent years and especially the stats that had us go and target him and recruit him from Freo?

I mean. Seriously. That is real. That is the real unavoidable area of the professional sport he is in. The fan stuff is something he can easily avoid.

Remember the week off that Hill had for personal reasons which was just after the incident at Mordialloc pub? We also need to remember that this is a player who has shown he does not have any issue in moving from club to club.

What I find hilarious is that the club apologists and the so called ‘good’ supporters think that it’s social media or fan forums that have anything to do with Hill wanting out of the club.

Like you said; “All kinds of crazy stuff gets thrown around by supporters”

I agree with you that words like ‘malignancy’ and cancer that were used last year in early 2021 on this forum were over the top, but I haven’t seen people at the ground spitting on Brad the way Tigers fans did to Danny Frawley when he was coach.

You're worried about Hill!

Just wait until the group has to start dealing with our new Lord and $aviour from the filth.

Not "Simon Templar". He was here first. Please change my username to Bumstead and if possible make me one of those very large sandwiches, thanks!

I’ve got an idea for his initiation that might hopefully tame the Lord beast

Yes. Saw them. Really smart. You should be at the club, you obviously know how to manage people.
