Late in the first quarter we were down 1.6 to 6.2.
From there until halfway through third we kicked 5.3 to 1.1 and played all over them .
Since then , they have kicked 9.3 to 2.6.

And so, despite finishing 14th or fifth last, we have actually managed to be overrun and beaten in the last quarter by two teams beneath us that low on the ladder. 
As I said before, it comes down to selection - the selectors need to stop gifting games to blokes who don't have the skills or the temperament for the game at the highest level.
Injuries this season have been crippling, but like last year I do get the feeling that games are not selected on merit.

Billings needs to hand back to the club before the end of season trip he's been looking forward to, at least half of his 800k salary. Another soft, waiting for the easy ball game today.
As for Newnes, let's hope he's played his last ineffective game for the club.
