Matt was AA, not Brad.

Brad's AA was Under-18 All Australian.

Give him some credit. Adelaide were not completely horrendous in 2019 when he won his B&F.

Elite mids dont grow on trees. And shaking a tree hoping that an elite mid drops out can be expensive.

We may already have one with Hunter.

Crouch makes our midfield group a heap stronger. Much, much stronger. I dont think his fitness or durability is a real issue. His hamstring injury this year was unlucky. And I think the change will do him very well.

My take:

We are not going to pay Crouch enough to trigger pick 2 for the Crows.

But the club is mindful of the Crouch desire to look after the Crows as much as possible in this trade.

So, we will be offering a pick and a player. It is not Adelaide's first preference but they are still very much open to this idea.

So, a pick and player to Adelaide and we get Crouch.
