Good work ASADA, leaking like a sieve.
Oh that just fills one with confidence.

So the story broke 12pm last night and our President is just rocking up now to find out what's going on?

Either that is untrue and paints a poor picture, or we're really being led poorly as a footy club.

SainterK, for what it's worth, you need to pull back from the 'our President' and 'we're really being led poorly' mindset.

It's not you. It's not us. It has nothing to do with you or us.

It's a club that makes money for the AFL, and employs lots of people to provide entertainment to 1000s of people. You're not involved, you're not being represented, and more importantly you're not able to control a single iota of it. None of this is a reflection of you or anyone you know.

So as I said, in the scheme of things, the worst possible scenario is that some dipshits ring SEN and bag the club. Aside from that, what's the big deal?

Personally, I don't see an issue with the club not jumping every time Caro says so. The whole matter is burried way down on the AFL website too, so seems no-one gives a fat rats until there's actually something to make a statement about.

yep not important at all. As long as your happy.

So you think the club will disappear because a bloke accidentally took some drug and will be banned for a year? Fair dinkum, are you for real?

And you think this is more likely because the club hjasn't come and sprouted some cliched nonsense in a public statement?

Seriously, what does this matter in the scheme of things? It does not matter one iota.

If it was a bunch of dudes cheating, or the club cheating - then clearly it would be a big concern. But even the tabloid footy media are playing this one down.

Non-issue for mine.
Well to me for one.

I don't care what opposition supporters think.

I pay my money to the club, hard earned, and a lot of adverse stuff has happened under this admins watch.

Fact.

I'd like to know they have a little bit of a clue what is going on.

I couldn't care less whether they rock up and dance nude around the offices down at Seaford all day.

As long as the team improves over the next 2-3 years.

All this other nonsense means nothing at all to me.

Even North have more supporters than us.

You need to pull back from the 'no big deal' mindset, because it clearly is to many.

Lewis' head-duck is getting far more press, it's really not a massive issue (yet).

What does the amount of supporters have to do with this? Or anything?

I don't know a single person who has ever changed clubs that is over the age of 8.

I certainly don't know a single person who has ever changed clubs because of a so-called 'scandal'.

I mean come on, get real.

774 radio 4pm news... they didn't say what time it was recorded but I'd guess it wasn't too long ago.

He didn't sound quite as uniformed or off-guard as Hamill (was understandably) all those years ago when Blight was sacked, but half let slip that he knew nothing about it and was going in to find out.

Seems like a bunch of part-timers are running the joint at times.

The only people who would really care about this stuff, are the ones who are deluded enough to think the club reflects them.

Will you seriously walk around moping because Saad took a drug? Or because the club doesn't 'get on the front foot' and make a statement?

Seriously.

Thanks.

Fair dinkum.

If this club can survive the 80s, Plugger snotting the president, Plugger leaving, Blight getting sacked, Barry Hall leaving, Everitt leaving, countless wooden spoons, losing Grand Finals, Milne & Montagna, GT vs Butterss, Westaway vs Butterss, the St Kilda school girl (what ever happened to her by the way?), the nude photos, the drugs in NZ, more lost Grand Finals and losing Ross Lyon, Milne again.......

....does anyone really think this is going to hurt?

Christ. This is actually a breath of fresh air this one.

Umm, are they the only people running the club?

We get your 'subtle' drift... they dont care, members dont matter, it's not the same as it used to be, you haven't had a decent chubby in years... we get it.

And we get that rodger fox feels the same.
