Two teams deserved to lose because of poor kicking for goal.
One team deserved to win due to superior field play.

I remember when my five year old daughter saw a road sign that said Fatigue kills ... She asked " Dad who's Fatty Gue? And
" who did he kill?"

On the game some good positives... Billings looked like he wanted the ball, the whole backline is turning into a solid unit, beautiful cameo by Long, very clever player. The side seemed to be growing in confidence as the game progressed .
i think if we knock off the cats we will be get on a roll.

We are working very hard just need to start to convert our entries, and clean up
our disposal

Don't criticise Luke D

You are only allowed to criticise the following;

Geary, Lonie, Minch, Brown, Billings, Siclair, Minchington, Gilbert and now Weller
So choose from that Group

Another word about Luke, Paddy or any other fan favourite you'll get a warning!!!

Sorry Big Mart but in a frantic game like that Paddy would have been a huge liability.

Probably

Was interesting to hear Richo, he thought is was a great game from a coaching point of view. Technically great game I think were his words, so he was pretty happy

Billings was very good today, I thought.

Butchered the ball horribly, but he worked himself into the game and was in very dangerous spots and got enough of the pill, I think. Damaging disposal and he would have been the best on the ground. Hopefully he keeps getting the pill in dangerous spots and the disposal starts to work for him. A good step in the right direction today!

What was his bit?

The 11 touches or the 3 tackles?

Felt like he tried to get into more push and shoves than actually touch the ball.

Collingwood had no run and carry and that's part of his role.

It does.

I think that a large reason why the Saints won today was our workrate was so dam good.

Our execution at times had me pulling my hair out. But the boys worked their buts off today.

Billings and Acres were the difference between the two sides.

It was good to see these 2 step up today and I thought that both got better as the game went on.

Acres was so close today to really ripping the pies apart today. Could easily have been bog he had judt gottrn a few moments more right.

I think a few commentators on here should be dropped from next 1 or 2 games for some poorly put together comments on today's game and should have a good hard look at themselves and put in some extra training watching Sandy's games

Meatball certainly has more to offer than Lonie. Meatball and Gresham is a killer combo of players to run through stoppages and to be crumbing inside 50

Certainly i just think a few comments particularly early on was 1 directed at rating the coach ...quite frankly I'm jack of coaches talk we have who we have and for the most part leave him be he's doing a pretty good job of it , 2 like the rest of us on here we are not privvy to coaches meetings or at the selection table so have a little faith in who they have chosen to do what and how . 3rd . Again like the rest of us I didn't go and do pre season or trained all season so far so i know I can't get selected so i have learnt to roll with the punches and let be what will be and not pick on players who didn't seem to do whatever some guys on hete think thay should have done , the beauty of our game , pressure changes how you play ,decisions made in a split seconds changes the way you play...... the game being played by us humans will never be perfect.
So I enjoyed the game and the win......but will we win a gf or even play finals , has our team been over rated by experts.... these are the underlying questions that will be known later in the year.
