Re: Petracca
Yep well summed up a very accurate call . Typical St.Kilda it's like there is some sort of curse on us

Re: Petracca
Petracca, nah saints got the better family.
The more you know, the more you know you don't know.
When I was a young child, I knew that I knew so much about so much.
Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

Re: Petracca
Not having a dig but goodness I hate the notion of the curse…
A few forumites have pushed this mantra a bit in 2021 and it is such a cop out (not referring to you Begualegend - not sure if you’re even serious or merely in self-deprecating mood).
More than anything else… a mentality has crept into the club for making a low % play and hoping for big returns:
- turn around the injury crippled mid no one else could fix
- draft the basket baller that played 3 games and showed promise
- just bomb the ball long and hope it falls to a crumber
- don’t take the standout pick, get the project player
- don’t get the respected premiership coach, recruit the up and coming assistant
A curse is ill fortune you can’t prevent. Making idiotic, poor decisions consistently is stupidity and the lack of ownership/accountability is why we keep making them.
Perpetuating this myth is that it’s a curse only cripples us.
