Frankly, I would be very happy if the old RTB surfaces and cracks the whip in the way he has done in the past, should the players deserve it!

you seem confused, asking again, do you like to whip?
Applied judiciuously, YES, why not, and by the way if you think I'm confused, we're not talking about a physical whip here, just a metaphorical one such as a good old fashioned verbal spray, nothing wrong with that is there??

You think I'm cofused? Asking again: why haven't you gone back over the article Vortex and explained exactly what words the journo used to indicate harrassment or bullying of our coach and/or team, which prompted my response to your post in the first place.....
Why are we doing the slow dance?

Of course it's a metaphorical whip.

I told you it was the headline.

Thread drift, were you were in the mining industry?
That's a pathetic, piss weak response Vortex! I should have remembered from previous "encounters" since the start of the pandemic that it's a waste of time getting you to acknowledge that you over-reacted to what was a fair and reasonable headline and story about our footy club. Like the time in 2020 you predicted St Kilda FC was broke and going to be placed in receivership.....

I apololgise to the forum for allowing myself to get sucked in to an exercise of futility.

You're welcome Firey, and I want you to know I have never asked for money, I volunteer my time freely to inspire the Thomas (Yorkeys) Keneally in all of us.

It starts with passion and ends with a broken keyboard.

My source tells me RTB has been on the rampage.

No one has been spared.

No one.

Told certain players to pull their fingers out and do the extra work. If it’s good enough for Nat Fyfe, it’s good enough for you.

Told a star of the team to get off the sauce.

Gave it to a young player who has yet to fulfil his potential by telling him to buy a house in Sandy to save on petrol because that’s where they’ll be playing for the year. Said player cancelled hols to do extra training.

Lol abusive coach cause he demands players lift standards that were clearly appallingly low.
No wonder this club has 1 flag in 150 years..,lol
It’s a joke that supporters are only content as long as we “don’t upset our individual champions” cause we’ve had few champions teams as a result
Weak.

Thanks for sharing Pav
Goddard alluded to some stark messages indicating that yes, Ross has mellowed, but doesn’t mean his lost the ability to call a spade.
If that’s the case I suspect standards must’ve been woeful
We’ve already seen Hill come out and blitz 3km trial…last year he had a guts for most of the year
What a difference a PROFESSIONAL coach makes to the place
Will sone players nit like it and leave? Very possible…they may be better in environments where they’re treated “special “
Not under Lyon.

Notwithstanding the hyperbole I used at the beginning of my post for effect, RTB is well known for calling a spade a spade.

I wasn’t told how he went about delivering some of these messages.

The part about the leadership change is my take but some significant comments have been made.

I’m sure there are some ITK who can coberate some of this.

No. As a potential Captain. That was my guess.

The fact is there is no equivalent of an uncompromising Captain like Roo or Pav on this list.

Ross will just have to work with what he’s got.
