Heard from a bloke who is a close friend of someone at the AFL that they are furious at the Crows. Apparently there is written evidence of the payments. According to this guy the AFL are talking 2 years worth of draft sanctions, a fine and some penalty for Tippett.
This guy told me an hour ago that Tippett will be prevented from being traded and it sounds like he was on the money.
Gold Coast will end up getting him anyway in the draft ... bet the Crows are wishing they had taken the 2 first round picks now ...

Irony is that the Crows were more than $200K under the cap...so had no need to do dodgey $200K deals....
