Just setting him straight.
Ok 2 out of 85 got rewarded not a great ratio is it?
Wrong again.

Yeah just imagine how we wouldve gone tonight without Coffield, Clarke, Gresham, Billings and Marshall tonight, we are just no good at developing talent.....

Probably only a handful of players that would off the trade table. We just lack hardness more than anything. Lots of blokes scared to get hurt
We had 85 tackles
They seem to intentionally hold back from going for the ball, then lay a tackle. I think they must be taught to do this. Remember Steele last week? He lined up behind cunnington and just tackled him when he got the ball. Watch how easily cats players walked through tackles in general play.

So predictable dud. Neutral supporters on Bigfooty all claiming we got completely reamed by the umpires.

In two weeks we’ve had a abuse free and now a too forceful free just to top off the biased bulls***. How’s when Long got s free and the the Geelong player abused the ump and he blew the whistle to pay 50 then changed his mind.

Positives were Clark & Coffield. They were both good and have to play every week now.
I’ve got to stick up for Acres. Played as a key forward, played as a ruckman, played as a defensive player, please Richo just give him a run in the middle like you do Seb and Gresh!!!
He is a tease and I’ve run out of patience.
Has no intensity or aggression.
That's it. Blame the loss on a few players. Actually, why don't we just take all the players off the field and get Finnis, Sexton, Richo and all the medicos and fitness staff and development coaches and Dave O'neill and Mick Ryan and the board of directors out on the field.

Serioulsy...why is every week that people need to look for a scapegoat. What is it that you don't understand about a bottom 4 club with a bottom 4 team?
Because if we are to get better we need to replace our weakest links with better players.
If all our players are so good why are we losing.
Stop watching with rose coloured glasses.
Accept some players aren’t good enough and we need to find players who are better.

Acres is a lazy dumb footballer, that’s why he’s not in the middle, actually in any position he’s a liability.

Why does everyone think he could be so good? What because he’s six foot three?

He will not play through the middle due to his lack of two way running
I'm a Blake fan. I think he could be extremely good. Why?

Because he still has some natural instinct. He takes the game on. He's regularly involved in scoring chains. To me, he's a point of difference.

He needs to start imposing himself on the contest more. Has a tendency to be very lethargic, has brain farts. I do see this. I think he would benefit from good coaching and leadership.

He is playing in a different position every 5 minutes.... That's a tough ask IMO. Everyone sees it different I guess. I actually see Gresham as lazy

I thought Umpire Dangerfield, Umpire Selwood and Umpire Ablett did a fantastic job guiding those work experience blokes in the fluoro green safety tops through the match.

Against the top team on their home turf with a third of our starting 22 out and playing loads of young kids

Seriously get a f***** clue
And what’s the excuse for the previous 16 weeks.

Run along now.

Is that the best you have - we turned up tonight with a decimated team and showed up the top team for long periods with their full quota on their boutique turf

What the f*** else did you want?

Your the worst poster on here period continually embarrassing yourself - living up to your nick for sure
Second lowest scoring team for this year.

Haven’t scored over 100 points once, that’s an historical low.

Keep sticking up more mediocrity. And we wonder why we’ve won one flag in 100+ years.

Forward line has been decimated all year with outs - we have one key forward - not sure exactly what you expect?

Not sticking with mediocrity at all but I know where we are at and how hard it is with the level of injuries we have had - seems I am the one who's expectations grounded and see the obvious

You can whinge all you want but if you don't want to stick fat then best you just f*** off and let us true supporters support

Lowest scoring team who’s surprised. Our full forward hasn’t played a game Battle had to cover down back due to injury to Carlisle and Austin. King unavailable no Steven or Lonie for huge chunks. No Roberton our quarterback. We’ve been decimated.

I think he’s anything but a dumb footballer.

He gets caught or looks slow sometimes because he’s actually looking to use the ball and not just bang it on the boot like Seb or Gresh.

Acres is far from our weakest link. Acres would be highly sought by other clubs.

Accept that you think too highly of your opinion and start questioning how are players are developed and utilised rather than looking for a scapegoat

Please tell me you’re not trying to say our forward line is decimated because Paddy isn’t playing???

All our top goal scorers from the last 5 years (Bruce, Membrey, Gresh) have played all year.

Our structure and game plan is terrible, that’s why we’re not scoring.

Should the umpire not have paid them?!
Curly claimed (wrongly as usual) none of our tackles were rewarded.

Just setting him straight.
Ok 2 out of 85 got rewarded not a great ratio is it?
Wrong again.

Why am I surprised?

So predictable dud. Neutral supporters on Bigfooty all claiming we got completely reamed by the umpires.

In two weeks we’ve had a abuse free and now a too forceful free just to top off the biased bulls***. How’s when Long got s free and the the Geelong player abused the ump and he blew the whistle to pay 50 then changed his mind.
Changed his mind!? Glad you’re a mind reader now Curls

Why don’t you get your mate Gears on the blower and see what he thinks
Blew his whistle a second time after the abuse so yes changed his mind.

Won’t see Gears at the footy this week he stays with Selwood tonight.

Next week though he will be up.
What a coincidence, next week Roo, Lenny and Kosi are having a slumber party at my place!

Nice perhaps ask them to explain the rules to you.

Effort schmeffort. Show me results.
Ha another who wants the world with a 3rd of our starting 22 out against the top team on their home turf :

Pfft our starting 22

Who's ours?
Or cho's?
Or the one a good coach would select from the cattle available

So who constitutes this elusive 1/3?
Webster, Robbo, yeah
Who else?
Mention McCarton and I'll convulse
Hannebury and I'll sneeze and spoil the party
Webster
Steven
Roberton
Battle
Geary
Hannebery

And yes McCartin ..... would absolutely definitely be playing and was showing good signs preseason

All these would be starting 22

You could even make an argument for Austin and Kent

Austin would allow Battle to go forward

So that's 9 mentioned all realistic starting 22 ..... and I needed 7

Cats had their full quota tonight - maybe Menegola the only one missing

So who are you dropping to fit all those players in?
