Yep….judging by this poll, it seems the only logical thing to do is sign up Ross Lyon. He now has over 40% of the primary vote. Once you add in preferences, he’s romped it in  8-)

I looked at the poll yesterday and it was heavily weighted against Lyon (he only had around 30%)….hmmmm…..either we’ve had a lot of new sainstsational members join up in 2 days and vote for him or perhaps it’s all legitimate and above board
Yep! Ro$$ the Bo$$ will be back with a vengeance!!

Lyons ... because some may have voted for him multiple times ("others" crept ahead, after all, at one stage ... and I pointed that out in an earlier post). I expect "others" to be actually ahead right now.

I notice that RL has a win loss ratio of roughly 57% as a coach, and hasn't won a premiership. Not much point in being a runner-up club. Must be others in the mix who can take us the whole way.

Been looking for a 150 years. Need to get to a GF to have a chance. Not many coaches have done that. Ross has done it more than others.

Chris Scott has been coach in the same amount of Grand Finals as has Ross Lyon?

If you ask all the people who are RL fans who is the better coach...I am pretty sure that most (maybe 70-80% will say Ross is better)

What a croc of horseshit. Both have coached teams in 3 GF's

Lyon is a 3 x loser and Scott has won TWO flags

......oooooohh hang on Scollop!! Wtf are you talking about? Scott has coached much stronger teams!!

Yeah sure he has. So if they win they have a strong team....but you don't want to concede the same argument regarding Lyon coached teams ...right?

Flip things around and it is logical to say Ross had strong teams under him ...and they were the main reason we got there

Results are the only thing that count in professional sport....but... not apparently when it comes to Lyon... you see....Ross Lyon has just had incredible bad luck and all the other premiership winning coaches have had incredible good luck...They were simply more arsey than Rossco :D

Adelaide are pretty happy they did not subscribe to that logic.

Although I'm not a fan, I think RL can give us an advantage if he can manage to keep our injuries at bay, as he did when he took over from GT.
It was one of his objectives when he took over ... and credit where it's due, we did get over the injuries that plagued us under GT.

Remember, we were an 8-3 team this year, before the injuries became too much.
We are an above average team, if our list remains healthy.

I'm a fan of a healthy list.

It wasn't injuries. We were a divided camp with dysfunctional relationships between the head coach and significant others. Injuries played a part but not the reason the wheels fell off.
