The main thing we all fear is losing Windy or Bytel if they go looking for opportunities at other teams

Let's hope it's not another version of Groundhog Day that we're watching (we lost Tom Lynch to Adelaide because he couldn't get games).

I know we had a strong team back then but you always should reward performance at lower levels when you have like for like replacements

Hope it's not to the detriment of our team in 2023 and we don't lose any matches we should easily win either

Windy contracted until 2025 so don't think he will be going anywhere. Like others here have heard struggling with some aspects of the game plan, which i am sure he will get and be better for it long term. Sometimes younger guys at a younger level can dominate with se ball get ball approach.

Bytel is 23 and has a 1 year deal . Obviously close to best 22 but waiting for an opportunity. Its only round 11, still plenty of time to grab a chance if you keep the head down ass up and keep working.
Will be interesting as you would think there a few delistings which will be likely based on injuries and durability alone at this stage - Jones, McKenzie, to name 2 who seem to have ongoing soft tissue injuries ( as opposed to impact injuries).

They may be in the back half of the field at the halfway mark of the cup but still 1600m to go.
