There's a fair chance the playing group has been distracted this week and If we're just a bit off and the Dees are up and about and get a sniff, we'll lose for sure.

It's now a 50 50 game.

it galvanised the playing group 9 years ago...maybe the focus will make them play like they know they can. 22 guys will be out there supporting Milney as well as Dal and Rooey you would imagine. They should have as much to play for as the Demons now. We may have actually taken back some of the Demon's need to win now the footy world has been distracted. Usually the week after a sacking the focus is on the club that does it.

Isn't it ironic that in this our supposed Loyalty year our committee has bowed to the pressure from the 3million dollar man, Dictator Demetriou and suspended one of the best clubmen and player this club has seen. Shame on you Saints for hanging him out to dry. The AFL can cover up its drug taking players and allow them to keep playing, but they have judged Milney to be guilty until proven innocent over an alledged offence. If he has done what he is accused of then he will get the punishment he deserves but until then get off his case. Loyalty: what a joke.

Or pressure from the 3million dollar sponsors.

Its a charge of rape. Not sure on others but only behind murder IMO. The club had no choice and if the AFL said it to them then they made the right decision. And again I hope he is innocent and gets off.

I would say manslaughter, criminal negligence, grievous bodily harm, physical assaults, conduct endangering lives etc. might give the type of sexual assault that allegedly occurred a fair run for their money. He isn't like the guy who stalked women and murdered them. He is accused of knowingly having sex with a woman who thought she was consenting to another person. Not like a break and enter and threat type sexual assault. Still it's your opinion even if it's wrong.

He is charged with rape. i dont see a proviso in the charge. There is a person in the general forum who wanted persons charged with rape to be put down. it is a serious, sorry very serious accusation. One which I hope isnt true. Sometimes you need to remove your blinkers. The club has made the right decision at this stage. Hopefully they continue to make the right decision for the good of everyone.
