In my humble opinion Ben McEvoy WILL be a future all-Australian. I said this a season or so back, and a (perceived) dip in form is not going to make me change that opinion. I know that folk will point toward Natanui and his rapid development, but lets face it Nic Nat is an absolute one-off as far as natural talent goes. It's constantly said that ruckmen take YEARS to develop, I for one am happy to give the kid some slack (AND some much needed encouragement) rather than bag him. I agree with the point previously made about Raph, it seems that every club needs a scapegoat and sadly some of our supporters are only too happy to get on the back of a kid that could well be lifting the Premiership cup for us some day.

So was beaten by someone that is lucky to get a game. A second stringer vs our no#1.
This was a game that Ben should have dominated and made Orren stevenson look second rate.
Not being comparable.
As for the stats. None were damaging.
He should have ran forward and kicked goals and make Orren accountable .

How do you know if he was allowed to do that? I doubt SW would have wanted him to run forward when we had the smallest backline in living memory.

a few weeks ago Big Boy was the talk of the town now people are calling for his head and asking if he was a daft mistake... seriously WTF is wrong with some of you supporters? The guy was concussed last week and copped a second head clash yesterday.

He is a RUCKMAN who can't ruck! Nothing is wrong with some supporters, some are just realists. He can take a grab floating around the ground, but is horrible in the ruck... he's a liability playing anywhere but ruck... so where to?
If we put ben on the trade table at the end of the year plenty of clubs would bang our door down to get him. When he hits his straps in the next year or two the same supporters would bag the club for trading him. Unbelievable
